Where do I even begin?! Never in a million years did I think I would actually become a photographer, so getting to take my sister's engagement photos has been one of the greatest surprises & honors that this job has brought me! Kelsey is my best friend & has been for all of our almost 24 years of life together. People always ask me what it's like being a twin, & my answer is always the same, "Well, I don't know really know what it's like to not be a twin!" I can't imagine life without Kels, & if you know me well, then you know I've been praying for Avery for a long time. I have always prayed for whoever Kelsey would marry -- that he would be a man after God's heart, a hard-worker, & a man who would love Kelsey unconditionally, forever. I'm pretty thankful & excited to say that that man is Avery.
I have watched he & Kelsey's relationship grow over the past year, & it has been awesome to see them continue to grow as a couple. I can't wait to see all that the Lord will continue to teach them about His love for us in their marriage! I'm SO excited to finally be gaining a brother, but more than anything, I am thankful because I know Avery will take care of Kelsey, which means the world to this protective twin & best friend. Their wedding is set for July 2nd (YAY!!), & I don't really know how I'm gonna make it through the day without losing it considering I cried while editing their pictures, so y'all pray for me! They are definitely HAPPY & THANKFUL tears!!
Kels & Avery -- I love you two with all my heart!! Thanks for letting Dyl & me hangout with y'all for a couple of hours, but luckily for y'all, we will be hanging out forever, so YAY for that!! It was an honor to capture these photos, & I can't wait to see what the amazingly talented Jon Sharman captures of the two of you on July 2!! Only 92 more days until y'all say I DO!!
