To be completely honest, I get emotional at almost every wedding I photograph. The first look, the processional, the first dances...I'm usually somewhat of an emotional wreck. But when capturing a wedding for my own family a couple of months ago, keeping it together just wasn't going to happen! This past October, I got to capture Dylan's cousin's wedding day which meant getting to photograph all of my new family (as of just a few weeks ago)! It was a BLAST & meant so much to me. Jacob has always been one of my favorites from the first time I met Dyl's fam -- he's hilarious & doesn't mind at all being the center of attention at our family gatherings. And y'all, Jenn is THE sweetest girl in the world. She has welcomed me into the group from day one & it has been such a blessing not just gaining her as cousin, but as a close friend. Dyl & I love you guys so much & are so excited for all of the memories that we have in store together! (Ok, I better move on or I'm gonna start crying again...)
This wedding was also my first time working with my amazing new mother-in-law who directed the day! Y'all, this woman can plan & coordinate like no other, so I was SUPER grateful that she was the one running the show! It was also kind of fun & a little weird for me getting to be in some of the family portraits, so of course I had to post a few! I am so thankful for my new family!!
Jenn & Jacob -- I love you both more than you'll ever know & being your wedding photographer has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I hope you love these photos as much as I loved capturing them. I'm so excited to see what the Lord has in store for you two!
I just had to jump in one shot with the GORGEOUS bride!!
Honored to call these ladies family!! Dylan's mom, grandmother, and Aunt Lisa, the groom's mom! One of my favorite shots of the day!
Jacob's dad (our Uncle Bobby) reading scripture was one of the sweetest moments of the day!
Cousin photo!! So thankful for this group!
The 13 of us! Yay that we are all family now!!
We love y'all so much!!
