I am SO excited to share Chris & Parker’s wedding day with you!! Everything about this day was a dream — from the house Chris & her bridesmaids got ready in, to the gorgeous flowers & colors, to the gorgeous weather — so many details came together to make this day amazing. But MORE amazing than the details were the moments that the joy of the Lord just came & was so much more than enough. Chris getting into her wedding dress & fully realizing this day was finally here. The way that Parker’s sisters were SO excited to be gaining Chris as a sister. The moment Chris & Parker’s hands toughed around the most beautiful tree, he first asked her how her day had been, how she was feeling, & you just knew that he would ALWAYS be putting her needs over his own. He prayed over their day, asking the Lord to be most glorified & for their worship to Him to be real & for Him alone. When Parker finally saw his bride walking towards him, he was overcome by emotion that she was HIS bride, now & forever. When they hugged their friends & family after the ceremony ended, celebrating a moment that had been long awaited. During portraits of the two of them, their joy was unmatchable & definitely impossible for a photographer to create. It was REAL joy in Christ — in His faithfulness & grace & mercy, in that while they didn’t deserve this new, incredible gift of being husband & wife, they were living in that gift, & the adventure was just beginning.
